Do you set boundaries? Are you protecting yourself?
Happiness without limits cannot exist, even love needs limits to flourish. People need to know what they can tolerate and what they can't. Only when you know what you want and what you can stand can you feel good about yourself.
If you find it difficult to say no, if you hide your needs to please others, or if you are bothered by someone who is toxic, manipulative, pushy, bossy, judgmental with you, then it is your responsibility to take a stand and speak up.

What are the types of boundaries?

– Physical boundaries are about your personal space, your body and your privacy. Be sure to be clear with them and point in an understandable manner to others until they can approach.

-Emotional boundaries help us understand which are our own responsibilities and which are those of others. Healthy boundaries prevent you from giving advice, blaming others or yourself.
Be aware that emotional boundaries protect you from taking other people's comments personally. You need to learn your feelings and your responsibilities to yourself and others.
